Friends of the Library Book Sale

The Friends of the Library will be having their monthly Book sale on Saturday, April 8th from 9:00 am - 2:30 pm in the Life Long Learning Center next to the Library.

Be sure to check out the Friend's "Book Nook" inside the main library. This is the new home of their ongoing book sale. There will be different items available here during all open library hours. Please see the front desk staff with any questions.

Jazz Picnic in the Park

A couple of photos from one of our recent Jazz programs. Patrons could enjoy the Owen Valley Jazz Band while snacking on sandwiches and cookies, or learn to make beautiful tissue paper flowers. More Jazz band programs can be viewed on our Teen page.

"This Irish yarn is a tale of Ryan and Bryan O'Brien. Ryan O'Brien is a homeless Irish Immigrant that lives for telling stories of the old country. He weaves tales of leprechauns and banshees spiced with half-truths from his life. Bryan O'Brien by contrast is a bartender that seems to have his life well in order and runs the successful Irish Pub - The Irish Lion. Bryan humors Ryan nightly with free alcohol from the bar as they battle out their wits over a game of chess but is everything really as it seems, and will Ryan and Bryan ever be the same as deep seeded scars from the past are unveiled?"
