Summer Reading is Here!

Friday, June 8th we kicked off our 2007 Summer Reading Program with a bang!

Be sure to check out the Children's and Teen's pages for all the updates on our fun programs! Check every week, and watch for the adventures of our mascot Detective Ike LaRue on his own page. The link will be found on our Children's page.

There are lots of things going on at the library every day, so come in to check things out for yourself, and of course, we will keep adding updates here.

Here's just a taste of what we've been doing.

Our Chief Investigator goes over her notes on the latest case.

A young assistant helps out Detective LaRue with a little typing.

Detective LaRue's office is located near the elevator in the children's department, and young detectives are welcome to explore and play here. There are always activity sheets in the desk drawer to keep us occupied as well.
